STALLA ENGIADINA offers unforgettable carriage and sleigh rides in the breathtaking Engadine mountains. In summer, the ride takes you in our comfortable carriages through blooming alpine meadows, past crystal clear streams, through fragrant forests and in winter through a glittering winter wonderland - always with a view of the fantastic mountain scenery.

We offer private carriage rides, with prior reservation, to the imposing Val Roseg with views of the glacier or to the picturesque Lake Staz. The trip can be booked one-way or round-trip. We depart from Pontresina train station.

Individual carriage rides are available on request from Pontresina, St. Moritz and Celerina. A special experience for weddings, corporate events or birthday parties. We gladly provide you with further information and make you a personal offer.

The picturesque Val Roseg is known for its breathtaking scenery as well as for its abundant flora and fauna. In winter you will often meet chamois and deer foraging on the way. The tour is also especially beautiful in autumn with the intense colors of the golden pine-wood trees.

At the end of the valley, at the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Glacier, the imposing panorama of the Roseg Glacier and the peaks of the Bernina Massif opens up.

Our tip: Enjoy the view from the hotel's terrace whilst having a drink, watching the evening light bath the peaks of the Piz Bernina, Piz Roseg and Piz Scerscen in fantastic colors, listening to the quiet gurgle of the Roseg stream.

The carriage ride to Lake Staz leads through one of the oldest and largest Swiss ston-pine forests in the Alps. The fragrance of the pine-wood is exhilarating and it is said to have healing powers. Some of the oldest Swiss ston-pine trees are over a thousand years old.

At the end of the journey, at a forest glade, you will find the idyllic Lake Staz between St. Moritz, Celerina and Pontresina at 1'815 meters. Here also lies the Hotel Restaurant Lej da Staz with its large sun terrace, open all year-round. The tastefully furnished Stazer Clubstuba with lounge and lake-view terrace on the first floor, enchants with original Engadine cosiness and typical regional dishes.

Those who prefer it quick and to go can enjoy delicious barbecue dishes, ice cream or home-made sweets at the "Quickguito" kiosk.
